CORONAVIRUS UPDATE

As the world and our community begins to open back up, we are excited we are getting very close to being physically together again.

Starting June 7, Phase 2 begins and we will open up to allow all folks to come back to church for worship. We will have protocols and procedures that will allow us to reopen. You can see these details on our Together Again page. There will be no nursery/children's ministries or Bible Study groups. We will continue to take precautions to help the vulnerable population.

As we progress these next weeks, we will continue to monitor the movement through these phases. We will continue to give you updates through our website, social media, and email.

Lastly, I just want to thank you church for your support during these difficult times. These are blessed days - but I believe our best days are even yet to come.

Facebook Live Streaming

Just because a church can't meet physically together doesn’t mean it ceases to be a church! During this time, we will continue to offer services virtually through Facebook live. Sunday morning at 10:00 AM, you can go to our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/mtcarmelcrossplains/ and join us in worship songs, prayer, and the Word. You can continue to access sermon notes, announcements, worship lyrics, and discussion questions, so we encourage you to gather your family and treat this as a great opportunity to worship together. We are continuing our ministry to families and children by continuing to add content to our Mt Carmel Kidz Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/mtcarmelbaptist/

Giving

Individuals will continue to be encouraged to honor God financially through online giving. https://mtcarmel.cc/give We know you can’t put money physically in an offering plate, but we have a system in place to make it easy for you to go to our website and give online. If you normally give by writing a check, you can continue to do so by dropping it in the mail or dropping it by the church office. We praise God in how our people have been so faithful this year that we will be able to continue all the ministry we support. However, we will also face more needs for others in the coming days. We give because we love God and it's His. We give so we can bless others. That's why giving needs to and should continue.

Staying Connected

We will stay active and connected through our church website at mtcarmel.cc and social media.

TEXT MESSAGE UPDATES: We have implemented mass texting to the church in order to help us get information out faster and more efficiently. Many of our church are already in the system, but you can text-to-join by texting MtCarmelCP to 84576 OR sign up on our website as well under Church Messaging. Please make sure it is a mobile phone number to receive texts.

Serving Others

We are continuing to live out our faith as a church in the following ways: https://mtcarmel.cc/covid-19-update Those of you that are volunteering, we are so thankful for you! In order to keep our volunteers and church as safe as possible, we will be instituting more safety measures to keep you safe and others safe. We want to be able to continue ministering to others and be the church. We are currently reducing volunteers at this time for safety to help staying at home.
